Vocabulary: Penis, testicles, scrotum, vas deferens, sperm/spermatazoa, vagina, ovary, uterus, fallopian tube, ova/ovum(egg)
*The above vocabulary is only part of the vocabulary associated with this topic, but are the most commonly tested.
In grade 7, you learned about Asexual & sexual reproduction: 1 organism vs. 2 organisms; fast vs. slow, many offspring vs. few(er); and offspring genetically identical to the parents vs. offspring genetically different to the parents.
After studying heredity, we now look at how humans reproduce - sexually. We start with the reproductive organs.
**be advised, when looking for images from the internet for this powerpoint, I could not find one that had the exact same labelled structures as the workbook - so if the notes and the labels on the images do not match, that is to be expected.
The workbook is what testing questions will come from, and I state in the notes further details about what students should focus on.
